Hawkesbury will play host to an eight race card this Thursday, with the Listed Rowley Mile set to headline the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Run over the 1600m journey, as the name suggests, the feature event will see a field of twelve line up for the $200k on offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rail will be in the true position and the track is currently is currently rated a good 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve had a close look at all ten events on the card and our thoughts can be found below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Homecoming has just had the one race start and there was a lot to like about her performance.<\/p>\n

Stepping away a touch slow over the 900m dash at Newcastle the Exceed And Excel filly travelled nicely along the rail and when asked for an effort in the straight, she picked up strongly in between runners to claim second.<\/p>\n

She will have taken plenty of benefit from the experience the slight rise in trip looks ideal.<\/p>\n

Zac Lloyd goes onboard for his master James Cummings and the inside draw should see her afforded every chance.<\/p>\n

Noises didn\u2019t have the best of luck when resuming over 1350m at Wyong but the locally trained filly will have taken improvement from the outing.<\/p>\n

Having just her second race start, she settled in a lovely position just behind the leaders and just when she started to make her move at the top of the straight, she found herself sandwiched between runs and did well to carry on and run into second.<\/p>\n

With the added fitness, the rise to 1500m should suit and she gets in nicely with the 2kg claim for Zad Waddick, who stays onboard for Brad Widdup<\/p>\n

Pinito resumed with a very encouraging effort over 1100m at Warwick Farm and will relish the rise in journey here.<\/p>\n

After settling back in the field she travelled sweetly and when presented into clear running 200m out she picked up strongly to finish third but the bird had flown.<\/p>\n

Placed in all three starts, the daughter of Trapeze Artist has hit the line hard on each occasion and the step to 1300m looks ideal.<\/p>\n

Zac Lloyd partnered the filly in both of her trials before resuming and he\u2019ll do the steering for team Godolphin.<\/p>\n

Wave Breaker returns to the races.<\/p>\n

The daughter of Pierata kicked off her career in good style, recording a stakes placing with a solid performance to finish third in the Widden Stakes behind subsequent Group One winners Lady Of Luxury and Manaal.<\/p>\n

She was sent to the paddock after failing to finish off when stepping out in the Sweet Embrace Stakes at her second outing.<\/p>\n

The filly looks to have come back in top order, producing out a very encouraging effort in a recent 740m trial where she won the heat comfortably under very little pressure.<\/p>\n

Back to maiden grade, she\u2019ll find this much easier and with luck from the draw, she\u2019ll be hard to beat.<\/p>\n

Sneaky Sofia comes off a deserved first up victory over 900m at Newcastle.<\/p>\n

Sent to the paddock after making her debut in the Wyong Magic Millions, the daughter of Merchant Navy finished in the placings in both outings last campaign, one of which was the $200m Wellington Boot she was only beaten a head.<\/p>\n

Prepared at Wyong by Damien Lane, the filly has continued to improve with each run and was dominant when resuming.<\/p>\n

Reece Jones will take the mount and with luck from the draw, she\u2019ll be right in this.<\/p>\n

Fleet Commander failed to finish off when resuming at Canterbury a fortnight ago but was found to have pulled up lame, so I\u2019m happy to forgive.<\/p>\n

The regally bred gelding will have taken good benefit fitness wise and has won second up previously.<\/p>\n

He was victorious at his only run over the 1800m journey and looks well placed with the drop back in grade.<\/p>\n

With the allocation of 62.5kgs, Bjorn Baker has elected to claim, securing Olivia Chambers to do the steering.<\/p>\n

She\u2019ll take 3kgs off and from the low draw can allow him to roll along in front and give them something to catch.<\/p>\n

A recent gelding procedure appears to have had the desired for Williamsburg, as the son of Snitzel produced a genuine effort to score an all-the-way win at Rosehill earlier this month.<\/p>\n

A frustrating run of placings led connections to make the decision and they were quickly rewarded as he returned to the winners stall for the first time in over 22 months.<\/p>\n

A three time stakes winner, and dual Group One placegetter, the five year old has always possessed the ability but just hadn\u2019t been getting the job done.<\/p>\n

He strips fitter for that recent run and any moisture in the track will only enhance his chances.<\/p>\n

Tyler Schiller stays in the saddle and from gate five, he can make his own luck up on speed.<\/p>\n

Magnucat has performed well in both runs back from a break and the form around her is solid.<\/p>\n

Sent to the paddock after beginning her career with back to back victories, the daughter of Magnus returned with a solid effort over 1100m at Canterbury where she stuck on gamely for fourth after working hard in the early part.<\/p>\n

Last start, again over that track and trip she found herself working through the early stages and despite looking to hit a flat spot at the top the straight, she picked up nicely to finish third under the 60.5kgs.<\/p>\n

The rise in tip looks ideal, she drops 2kgs and with luck from the draw, she\u2019ll be strong late.<\/p>\n
