Palm Of Jumeirah kicked off her campaign with a determined victory over 1000m at Murray Bridge.<\/p>\n
Having just her second race start, the Pride of Dubai filly let down strongly in the straight to reel in the leader, who\u2019d given a good kick at the top of the straight.<\/p>\n
She was sent to the paddock after pulling up lame at her debut outing in the Listed Cinderella Stakes but has come back in top order and looks to have plenty of upside.<\/p>\n
Kayla Crowther partnered her on that occasion and she goes back aboard for Phillip Stokes.<\/p>\n
Quanah has just had the one race start and couldn\u2019t have been more impressive.<\/p>\n
Making his debut over 1100m at Gawler, the son of Palentino showed good early speed to take up the running and never looked in doubt as he kicked away to put up a 2.2 length margin on the line.<\/p>\n
Despite getting the job done he still looked very raw, suggesting there is improvement to come.<\/p>\n
The rise in trip looks suitable and from gate two he can make his own luck.<\/p>\n
Commissions was solid on debut and will have taken good improvement from the outing.<\/p>\n
Stepping out over 1400m he bounced straight to the front and stuck on gamely with one just getting the better of him over the final 50m.<\/p>\n
With five weeks since that run the drop back to 1250m shouldn\u2019t prove an issue and he now has the benefit of race experience.<\/p>\n
Todd Pannell goes onboard for Michael Hickmott and barrier five should him race on speed without doing any work early.<\/p>\n
Motorace makes the trip across from Flemington and should find this easier than what he contested last start.<\/p>\n
The lightly raced gelding was only narrowly beaten over 2100m on the Sandown Lakeside two runs back and last time, up to 2400m, he held his ground to the line.<\/p>\n
He presents here at peak fitness and the slight drop back in trip looks ideal.<\/p>\n
Ben Price will do the steering for team Hayes and barrier three will see him afforded every opportunity.<\/p>\n
Platinum Wolf resumed off a long break with a solid effort over 1200m and he will have taken plenty of benefit from the run.<\/p>\n
The Puissance de Lune gelding has put together a very tidy record and was beaten less than a length in the grey\u2019s race at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day before heading to the paddock.<\/p>\n
He drops back in grade and will appreciate the rise in trip.<\/p>\n
Whist he does have to lump the big weight he did salute under 60kgs last campaign and if he can find cover early off the awkward draw, he\u2019ll be doing his best work late.<\/p>\n
Alpine Flyer returned from short break with a terrific effort over 1400m at Flemington.<\/p>\n
After travelling well throughout she chased strongly to the line and will have taken plenty of benefit from the run.<\/p>\n
A very handy mare on her day, she has continued to race well as she rises through the grades and should this touch find this a touch easier than what she contested last start.<\/p>\n
She boats a terrific second up record and gets in beautifully with the 2kg claim for Rochelle Milnes.<\/p>\n
Chambers Bay recorded a dominant win two runs back but just struggled to see out the 1700m last time.<\/p>\n
Given a six week let up, the drop back to 1400m looks ideal for the son of Spieth and he does race particularly well fresh.<\/p>\n
He looks well placed here back in grade and with the rise in weight, Phillip Stokes has elected to claim, securing Taylor Johnston to do the steering and take 3kgs off.<\/p>\n
With the advantage of the inside draw, he can settle up on speed and\u00a0might just prove too good for them.<\/p>\n
Aviatress comes off a gallant first up performance in the Listed Lightning Stakes.<\/p>\n
Taken back to last off the outside gate, she was brought to the outside at the top of the straight and let down powerfully to claim third, beaten less than half a length.<\/p>\n
The daughter of Smart Missile has shown plenty of talent in her six starts to date and the form around her is solid.<\/p>\n
From the low draw she can settle closer in the run and she gets in beautifully with just 54.5kgs on her back.<\/p>\n
Iphimedia has yet to find the winners stall since her debut victory but looks well placed to do so here.<\/p>\n
A daughter of Exceed and Excel, the mare has continued to perform well and finished the runner up at both appearances at stakes level.<\/p>\n
Under the 60.5kg impost she struggled to let down in the heavy conditions two runs back but was solid to the line, finishing second on the Hillside at her most recent outing.<\/p>\n
Her best runs have been at 1000m and she\u2019s drawn to get the right under Callum Murray, who takes the mount for the Griffiths \/ de Kock partnership.<\/p>\n
