Rosehill will play host to a ten race program this Saturday and with further rain expected, it\u2019s likely that we\u2019ll again be racing on a heavy surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rail will be out 7m and the track is currently rated a soft 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lady Boss looks a very talented filly on the rise.<\/p>\n

Yet to miss a top three spot in five race starts the daughter of Street Boss resumed with a decisive victory over 1250m at Canterbury before a solid effort to claim third last start.<\/p>\n

Off a wide gate she got back and travelled three deep throughout but still let down strongly to get within .6 of a length from the winner at Randwick.<\/p>\n

She looks ideally placed up to 1500m and barrier three should see her afforded every chance under Dylan Gibbons.<\/p>\n

Putt For Dough has been racing well and presents here at peak fitness.<\/p>\n

Two runs back he just felt the pinch late off a five week let up and last time, up to the mile he again just looked to peak on his run 100m out.<\/p>\n

Back to 1400m looks ideal and whilst he does stay at that same level, this certainly looks a winnable race for him.<\/p>\n

Tom Sherry has been successful aboard the gelding previously and goes back aboard for Hawkesbury trainer Mick Attard.<\/p>\n

Stakes placed on three occasions, the Hellbent filly has already proven her class and she should find this easier than what she had previously been contesting.<\/p>\n

She races well fresh and is two from two over the 1200m trip.<\/p>\n

Given two recent trials, she\u2019s been taken back and has found the line well on each occasion and looks ready to go.<\/p>\n

James McDonald will do the steering for Ciaron Maher and from gate two she\u2019s sure to enjoy a cosy run.<\/p>\n

Intervarsity returns to the races.<\/p>\n

Unbeaten in two raceday appearances, the Mikki Isle filly looks highly talented and whist she does make the transition from country to town, this looks an ideal first up assignment.<\/p>\n

Both victories have been over the 1280m at Muswellbrook where she\u2019s rolled to the front and proven superior over the final part.<\/p>\n

With a combined winning margin of over six lengths, she\u2019s been a class above and she comes here off a very pleasing 1000m trial win.<\/p>\n

Barrier two will see her afforded all the favours under James McDonald.<\/p>\n

Nanshe is racing well and was unlucky not to have won last start.<\/p>\n

Over 1400m on the Kensington she looked to have the race within her grasp but suffered considerable interference 250m from home, albeit ruing her chances.<\/p>\n

Despite losing all momentum she still picked up well to finish third, beaten only .4 of a length.<\/p>\n

A daughter of Astern, the mare has performed consistently during her ten start career and looks very progressive.<\/p>\n

She does rise slightly in grade but drops to 56kgs and McDonald sticks with her.<\/p>\n

He finished off strongly over the 1800m journey two runs back and last start, at that same trip, he charged home into third after being held up for much of the straight.<\/p>\n

He presents here at peak fitness, drops back in grade and has won at his only start over this trip so there\u2019s a lot to like about him here.<\/p>\n

James McDonald goes onboard and looks a top chance of taking out the race named in his honour.<\/p>\n

The Zoustar filly has put together a very tidy record and continues to progress through the grades nicely.<\/p>\n

She resumed with an explosive victory over 1100m at the beginning of May before stepping out in stakes company, where she produced a solid performance to finish second behind the very handy Commemorative.<\/p>\n

A winner of two from three first up appearances, she looks ready to go after cruising through the line under very little pressure in a recent 900m trial.<\/p>\n

Rachel King stays in th saddle for Bjorn Baker and the low draw can see her settle within striking distance.<\/p>\n

Williamsburg returns off an eight week let up with a very notable gear change.<\/p>\n

The son of Snitzel has been gelded since his last raceday appearance and if a recent 1000m trial here is anything to go by, the procedure may have had the desired effect.<\/p>\n

Whilst he had been performing well, the ultra consistent galloper hasn\u2019t seen the winner\u2019s stall since October 2022 when he saluted in the Listed Dulcify Stakes.<\/p>\n

He looked sharp winning a 1000m trial here on the course proper and the 1500m off a let up should suit.<\/p>\n

A noted wet tracker, he\u2019ll get conditions to suit and with any luck from the wide draw, he\u2019ll be right in this.<\/p>\n

Contemporary is racing in terrific form and looks well suited stepping out to 1300m.<\/p>\n

The Godolphin galloper made it three consecutive wins with a good break and then six week freshen up in between and he was solid to the line last start when dropping back in trip.<\/p>\n

The four year old has always showed good ability but is really starting to put it all together now.<\/p>\n

Nash Rawiller has partnered him at his past three outings and he\u2019ll again do the steering for James Cummings.<\/p>\n

Danaustar strips fitter for the two runs back and looks ready to peak third up out to 1400m.<\/p>\n

When resuming over 1200m here the Zoustar gelding was solid through the line and up to 1300m last time, he hit the front 300m out and was just collared late.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s won two from three of his third up appearances and boasts a great record over this trip.<\/p>\n

Back in grade, he does rise in the weights but gets in nicely with the 2kg claim for Molly Burke.<\/p>\n
