Caulfield Heath is set to stage another eight-race midweek meeting this Wednesday, with the track likely to remain a touch on the wet side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rail will be positioned 5 metres out around the entire course, and while the early races appear fairly straightforward, there should be plenty of value in the more competitive events later in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help break down the form, we\u2019ve taken a close look at all eight races below.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Hawkes-trained son to Castelvecchio\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0have a great deal of luck when resuming here over much shorter,\u00a0caught five-wide at one point before being restrained to avoid checking\u00a0across heels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That was his first run back since mid-December mind you, with his\u00a0previous\u00a0performance seeing him run on late at Canterbury over\u00a01900m\u00a0in similar soft conditions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Out over longer now with improvement still to come,\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0capable of landing in the money from a good gate.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A daughter to Written Tycoon, we saw her put 2.5 lengths between herself and her rivals last November here on the Heath track over 1200m, before being\u00a0quickly sent\u00a0back to the paddock.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her recent trials leading in have only been plain, but that was also the case ahead of her debut over the spring. In well with the claim and most importantly, drawn a nice soft gate, she should take\u00a0a power\u00a0of beating.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
