Eight races make up Anzac Day at Royal Randwick<\/a> this Saturday, April 25th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather has remained overcast in Sydney this week but at publish, we\u2019re faced with a track rated in the Good (4) range, while the rail will be set out 10 metres from the 1000m-W\/Post and 8 metres the remainder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having won on debut back in January, Siragusa<\/strong> was immediately put away and picked up where he left off with a dominant three-length victory. Having unfortunately dropped the rider in the Listed South Pacific Classic most recently, he\u2019s been back to the trials, and this is undoubtedly a weaker race than that one.<\/p>\n

Jellicious<\/strong> was a model of consistency last time in, winning a couple of metro BM72 contests most notably, while she worked home well to finish second over 1100m at Rosehill when resuming earlier this month. She\u2019s a winner at this point of her preparation and is drawn to receive the run of the race under Sam Clipperton.<\/p>\n

He was good through the line behind an impressive Journeyman fresh at Warwick Farm in February, while Hay Street<\/strong> has since broken his maiden and backed that up with another smart victory in midweek BM78 company on the Kensington track here. This is another rise in class, but he\u2019s open to further improvement, he gets into the contest well under the conditions and I am keen to stick with him until he gives me a reason not to.<\/p>\n

Zaphod<\/strong> went for a break after recording a couple of impressive victories up in Queensland in the summer, including the Gold Coast Mayors Vase, while he stepped out fresh in the Muswellbrook Cup last month and finished within a length of the winner. I like that he\u2019s been back to the trials to strip fitter since that race, getting out to the 1800m this week looks to suit, and he should be able to find a nice spot in the run from a perfect draw this week.<\/p>\n

Rarely does Fiddlers Green run a poor race and he has won two of his last three starts, including a strong effort to get up in BM78 company at Warwick Farm last time out. A mile suits and he steps out this week in peak order.<\/p>\n
