Q.What happens if a Cricket game is affected by rain?

A.

ODI Cricket betting options that are commonly affected by rain and how they are resulted:

Head to Head
Will be paid out to the winner as decided by the Duckworth Lewis method, or refunded if the match is abandoned.

Top Runscorer
Will be paid out if the innings has been completed, or at least 20 overs have been bowled, regardless of whether or not there is a result in the match. In other words the Top Runscorer option becomes live as soon as 20 overs of the relevant innings have been completed.

Highest Opening Partnership
Will be resulted if both teams have completed their opening partnership, or refunded if not. Therefore, if the team that is batting second’s innings is curtailed by rain before they have passed the target then all bets will be refunded.

Highest 1st 10 Overs
Will be resulted if both teams have completed the first 10 overs of their innings, or refunded if not. Again, if the team that is batting second’s innings is curtailed by rain before they have passed the target then all bets will be refunded.

Team to Hit Most 6s
Similar to the Top Runscorer option, bets will be paid out if the match is completed. Bets stand in reduced overs matches regardless of how many overs each team has had the opportunity to bat for.

Total Match 6s
Will be paid out if the match is completed (i.e. there is a result in the match). If the match is abandoned and the upper total has not been passed then all bets will be refunded.

Most Runouts Conceded
Similar to Team to Hit the Most Sixes option,  bets will be paid out if the match is completed. Bets stand in reduced overs matches regardless of how many overs each team has had the opportunity to bat for.

Total Match Runouts
Will be paid out if the match is completed (i.e. there is a result in the match). If the match is abandoned and the upper total has not been passed then all bets will be refunded.

Highest Individual Score
All bets are refunded as soon as there is any reduction in the number of possible overs. I.e. a match is shortened to less than 50 overs per side. If a player subsequently scores 100+ then that bet will not be a winner on the basis that the bet was refunded at the moment the number of overs was reduced.

Q.How does Over Betting work?

Over Betting allows you to predict what will happen in a particular over.

These options are often offered during Live Betting. The selections available can include total runs scored, whether there will be a wicket and whether a four or six will be scored.

Each Over Betting option is clearly titled so you know which over you are betting on, e.g. "25th Over Betting-Live Now"

Please note: Details of each over are often recorded decimally during live television coverage and websites such as www.cricinfo.com. For example, the 1st Over would read 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, the 2nd Over 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and the 25th Over would be recorded as 24.1, 24.2, 24.3, 24.5 24.6 and so on. It is important to understand this so that there is no confusion about which over you have placed your bet on.

1st Ball Runs

This option allows you to predict the number of runs scored from the first ball of the over.

Please note: The Option is paid on the first delivery of the over, including extras. For example, if the first delivery of the match is 1 Wide or 1 No Ball, “1 run” will be paid as the winning selection. This Option does not refer to the re-bowled delivery. For the purposes of this Option, the re-bowled delivery will be deemed to be the second ball of the over.
