Treble

A Treble requires the selection of the winners of three separate races at one meeting as nominated by the TAB.  Each race is referred to as a ‘leg’ of the Treble.  Betting on Trebles close when the first leg starts.

Bet the easy way

If you can't decide, an Easybet is a simple and easy way to be part of the action.  Get your Treble Easybet by checking the box on the betting slip online at tab.co.nz or by asking the TAB operator for an ‘Easybet’ and the TAB computer will select your runners for you.  Easybets are more than a lucky dip. They are generally weighted towards the favourites as the computer selects a bet based on where the punters are putting their money on in each of the three legs, i.e. ’a selection from the money, not the mouth’.

Treble Easybet combination costs

A $5 Treble Easybet gets you five runners in the first leg, two runners in the second and one runner in the last leg.
A $10 Treble Easybet gets you five runners in the first leg, two runners in the second and two runners in the last leg.
A $24 Treble Easybet gets you six runners in the first leg, four runners in the second and two runners in the last leg.
There are multiple Treble values to choose from.  You can spend as little as $4 and as a much as $24

What is Percentage Betting?

Percentage Betting allows you all the excitement of a big bet without the big outlay. You can decide how much you want to spend on a bet that involves a number of combinations. You state the total amount that you wish to spend and the computer spreads this across your combinations. You bet a percentage of the normal cost and get a percentage of the dividend in return.
