American Football

Head to Head
Our simplest and most popular Sport betting option. Head to Head gives you the chance to pick which of the two teams in a particular match will eventually win.

Note: All American Football options include Overtime, where applicable. In the NFL, during the Post Season, Overtime will continue until a winner is determined. During the Regular Season, if the score is still drawn at the end of Overtime the match is considered a draw.

In the event of a draw, your Head to Head bet is still not considered a losing bet. Because no draw is offered in Head to Head for American Football, your bet will receive half the dividend that you would have otherwise received if your team had won the match.

Total Combined Points
This option allows you to pick how many points will be scored in a particular match. The Bookies will provide a number, called a line. You can then decide whether you think the total points scored will be Under or Over that line.

For example, the Bookies might provide a line of 44.5 points. If the total points scored in that particular match is 44 or less, all bets on Under 44.5 would be resulted as Winners. Likewise, if the total points scored in that particular match was 45 or more, Over 44.5 would be resulted as Winners.

Points Start
The Points Start option outlines how many points the Bookies think separate the two teams in a particular match. You can then decide if a team is likely to do better than the Bookies have predicted.

For example, in the 2016 Super Bowl, the Carolina Panthers were considered 5-6 point favourites over the Denver Broncos.

The Points Start option therefore appeared as:

Carolina Panthers -5.5
Denver Broncos +5.5

Note: the Points Start includes a half point to eliminate the possibility of a draw and therefore guarantee a payout to Punters.

Punters who thought Carolina would win by 6 points or more backed Carolina -5.5. Punters who thought Denver would prevent Carolina from winning by 6 points or more backed Denver +5.5. In the end, the final score was Carolina 10 Denver 24 – a winning margin of 14 points to Denver. Therefore, Denver +5.5 was resulted as the winning selection.

Here’s another way to look at it: The Points Start option attempts to even the market. In theory, the favourite should beat the Points Start 50% of the time, with the opposite also occurring 50% of the time. The selections within Points Start can either (i) take points away from a team’s final score or (ii) add points to a team’s final score.

Using the example above, if you took Carolina -5.5 this selection would take 5.5 points off Carolina’s final score. That means you would need Carolina to win by 6 points or more for this to be a winning bet.

If you took Denver +5.5 this selection would add 5.5 points to Denver’s final score. That means you would need Denver to avoid losing by 6 points or more for this to be a winning bet. As Denver won by 14 points they easily avoided losing by 6 points or more so Denver +5.5 was the winning selection.

Winning Team & Margin
With the Winning Team & Margin you can not only predict which team will win a particular match, but also the margin of their victory.

The four selections in Winning Team and Margin are:
Home team by 13 & Over
Home team by 12 & Under
Away team by 12 & Under
Away team by 13 & Over

This is a very popular bet type as it pays much higher dividends than the Head to Head.

Note: In the event of a Draw, both Home Team 12 & Under and Away Team 12 & Under will be resulted with a half dividend.

Winning Margin Spread
Much like the Winning Team & Margin, the Winning Margin Spread allows you to predict a winning team and the margin of their victory. However the Winning Margin Spread has many more selections within it. It is more difficult to predict and so offers even higher dividends.

An example:
Carolina by 6 & under

Carolina by 7-12 pts

Carolina by 13-18 pts

Carolina by 19-24 pts

Carolina by 25-30 pts

Carolina by 31-36 pts

Carolina by 37+ pts

Denver by 6 & under

Denver by 7-12 pts

Denver by 13-18 pts

Denver by 19-24 pts

Denver by 25-30 pts

Denver by 31-36 pts

Denver by 37+ pts

Note: In the event of a Draw, both Home Team 6 & Under and Away Team 6 & Under will be resulted with a half dividend.

Half/Full Time Double
This option allows you to predict the leading team at Half Time and the winning team at the end of the match.

The six selections within this option are:
Home Team/Home Team

Home Team/Away Team

Away Team/Home Team

Away Team/Away Team

Tie/Home Team

Tie/Away Team

Note: In the event of a Draw, both Tie/Home Team and Tie/Away Team will be resulted with a half dividend.

Points Start/Total Combined Points Double
This option allows you to combine the Points Start and Total Combined Points options into one bet. The selections within this option usually coincide with the Point Start and Total Combined Points options offered within the same particular match.

For example, in the 2016 Super Bowl the Points Start line was 5.5 and the Total Combined Points line was 44. The Points Start/Total Combined Points Double appeared as:

CARO -5.5/Und 44.5
CARO -5.5/Ovr 44.5
DENV +5.5/Und 44.5
DENV +5.5/Ovr 44.5

As the final score was Carolina 10 Denver 24, the winning selection was DENV +5.5/Und 44.5

The odds for this option are calculated mathematically, as determined by the odds offered within the Points Start and Combined Points options.
