Provisional Result
Soon after a race is completed the judge will declare the order in which the runner 'crossed the finish line'. These placings will be entered as a result into the betting system, but as there is still potential for an inquiry into the race, this result is a Provisional Result, and will not become official until the order for payment of dividends is made.
