Boxed Trifecta
The easiest and most popular way to take a Trifecta. You pick three, four, five or more runners and by boxing them, you buy all the possible combinations of those runners coming first, second and third. The more runners; the greater the cost, e.g. at $1 per combination: Three runners boxed = $6.00, four runners boxed = $24, five runners boxed = $60. To reduce this cost, see Percentage Betting
