Q.What if a player that I have placed a bet on for first try scorer does not take the field of play?
A.You will get a refund of your first try scorer bet.
Q.What if a tennis player pulls out of a match because of injury?
A.All bets are refunded. Under the TAB rules a match must be completed for bets to stand.
Q.Why is there a reduction when taking the same horse multiple times in a Multi?
A.Selecting the same horse in a Multi is technically a related outcome. There is a reduction in the second race taken which reflects what the odds will be like if the selected horse was to win the first race.
Q.In American sports such as Baseball extra innings may be played to determine the outcome, when is the result declared?
A.The result is declared at the end of the match, with overtime included.
Q.If a cricket test match is rained out without a ball being bowled do I get my money back?
A.Yes. In a one-day match if the match is shortened by weather then the winner as declared by the sporting body and is paid out on by the TAB. If the officials declare a 'no result' on a one-day match then all bets are refunded except those options that were already decided e.g. most runs in the first 15 overs.
Q.What happens if there is a protest after the winner of an event has been declared and subsequently the winner is disqualified?
A.We pay out on the official result as declared at the close of an event on either the result at the end of play or the podium positions for certain sports. Any subsequent overturned decision will not be recognised by the TAB.
Q.If there is extra time played in a match will it affect my result?
A.Rugby League, Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockley and American Football all include extra time unless otherwise stated. Rugby Union and Soccer are paid at the end of normal time unless otherwise stated.
Q.What happens in Fixed Odds betting on Motor racing if a winner is disqualified after the race finishes?
A.The TAB payout on podium finish in Motor Racing or other sports like Athletics or Cycling. Podium winner is the winner who is presented with first after the race has been completed. Any subsequent alteration to the placings for any reason technical or otherwise is not recognised by the TAB.
