Pick6 requires the selection of the winners of six nominated races at one meeting held on the last six races of a nominated meeting. Each race is referred to as a 'leg' of Pick6. The pool is won when all six winners are covered on at least one ticket. The pool is shared if there is more than one winning unit. If the pool is not declared as terminating, it will jackpot if it is not struck and roll over to the corresponding day (must be the same code) of the following week.
Note: Pick6 bets can only be placed on the day of the Pick6. Betting on Pick6 closes when the first leg starts.

How much does it cost?
Bet the easy way
If you can't decide, an Easybet is a simple and easy way to be part of the action. Get your Pick6 Easybet by checking the box on the betting slip online at tab.co.nz or by asking the TAB operator for an ‘Easybet’ and the TAB computer will select your runners for you.
Easybets are more than a lucky dip. They are generally weighted towards the favorites as the computer selects a bet based on where the punters are putting their money on in each of the six legs, i.e. ’a selection from the money, not the mouth’.
Pick6 Easybet combination costs
An $8 Pick6 Easybet gets you two runners in each of the first four legs and one runner in each of the last two legs
A $16 Pick6 Easybet gets you two runners in each of the first five legs and one runner in the last leg
A $32 Pick6 Easybet gets you two runners in every leg
There are multiple Pick6 values to choose from. You can spend as little as $4 and as a much as $500
What is Percentage Betting?
Percentage Betting allows you all the excitement of a big bet without the big outlay. You can decide how much you want to spend on a bet that involves a number of combinations. You state the total amount that you wish to spend and the computer spreads this across your combinations. You bet a percentage of the normal cost and get a percentage of the dividend in return.
What is a Terminating Pick6?
It will be won! The full pool will be paid out!
If the Pick6 is won by only one 10% ticket, then that ticket will receive the full pool!
If the Pick6 isn’t struck by All 6, then tickets with Any 5 will be the winner/s! If there are no Any 5 winners, then Any4 will claim the prize and so on.
